How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate your account
- To display your screen name to other players
- To track your game statistics and badges
- To prevent cheating and abuse
Social Features
- Recent Players: We store a list of your last 50 human opponents (screen name, profile icon, last played date) to help you reconnect with players. AI opponents are excluded.
- Block List: You can block up to 100 players. Blocked players won't appear in your recent players list and cannot send you invites. Block data is stored per-account and is unidirectional.
Referral Data
- When you verify your phone through a referral invite link, we store a one-way hash (HMAC-SHA256) of your phone number to match the referral when you install the app. Your actual phone number is never stored in the referral system.
- Pending referral records expire after 90 days and are automatically cleaned up.
- We track outstanding referral invites per user (capped at 50) to prevent abuse.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We follow industry best practices for data security.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings page. When you delete your account:
- All public data is immediately removed (screen name, profile, game history, badges, credits).
- Credits are forfeited and not refunded.
- You will be removed from any active games.
- We retain a hashed version of your phone number and abuse-related data for up to 3 years to prevent ban evasion and protect other players. No personally identifiable information is retained.
- Block relationships are preserved so that if you re-register, previous blocks are reinstated for safety.
Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated public data at any time through the app's Settings page.
